Durable and water-resistant “60/40” fabric
This piece uses the revolutionary “60/40 (Rokuyon Cloth)” fabric developed by Sierra Designs in 1968. Woven with a ratio of 60% cotton for the weft and 40% nylon for the warp, it is softer than 100% cotton and more abrasion-resistant than 100% nylon. The fabric develops richer character with wear. When exposed to moisture, the cotton fibers swell to tighten the weave, enhancing water resistance and wind protection.
A polyester liner is applied to the interior to improve wind resistance while allowing smooth layering and easy movement of the sleeves.
Functional details
The shoulder area features raglan sleeves for a natural fit and ease of movement. The front is finished with a concealed placket combining snap buttons and a zipper.
The pockets are designed vertically for easy access, and an interior pocket with hook-and-loop closure is also included.
The cuffs can be adjusted in two stages with buttons, helping to block wind from entering through the sleeves.
