SEUVAS

SEUVAS

SEUVAS
Founded in 2017 in Kurashiki, Okayama, SEUVAS is a brand that combines two traditions: the "sewing technology" capable of withstanding harsh environments and the "Kurashiki canvas," a textile with over 130 years of history. The name "SEUVAS" is a combination of "SEWING" and "CANVAS," representing a brand that creates "free clothing" by blending these two traditions.

SEUVAS

The Beauty and Functionality of Natural Materials
The fabric used is deadstock 100% cotton jersey. The fabric is dyed using the traditional Kyoto indigo dyeing method, known as "mizu-ai-zome" (water indigo dyeing).

SEUVAS

"Mizu-ai-zome" uses indigo grown in the paddy fields of Kyoto to create a soft, translucent indigo color. This traditional technique is often used for kimonos, noren (fabric dividers), and furoshiki (wrapping cloths).

Unlike typical indigo dyeing, this method results in a gentler tone, and the natural gradient effect is widely appreciated.

In addition to its elegant color, the indigo offers natural antibacterial, deodorizing, and insect-repellent properties.

※Please note that each indigo-dyed piece is unique due to the nature of the dyeing process.

SEUVAS

Careful Sewing Specifications
The neck features a durable binder neck that resists stretching. The lock part is covered with a special "tako-binder" for added durability, making this a detailed and time-consuming design.

SEUVAS

There is a one-side seam on the left side, a feature used to highlight the characteristics of the deadstock fabric.

The underarm and side seams are flat-seamed to reduce discomfort from stitching against the skin, ensuring a comfortable wear. This piece pays attention not just to dyeing but to every detail.

SEUVAS

The right side features a round-body design.

SEUVAS

It fits the body comfortably, while offering a relaxed fit with a modern silhouette.

The comfortable underarm and sleeve seam construction, along with the visual effect of the ombré dyeing, make this piece stand out as the focal point of any outfit. Whether paired with denim, cargo pants, or shorts, it creates a refined look perfect for adult casual wear.

SEUVAS

SEUVAS

Each piece is carefully packaged, as if wrapped like a kimono.

※Please note that the included bag is not part of the product, and returns or exchanges cannot be accepted if there are creases or tears.
