The M-65 Field Cargo Pants, originally adopted by the U.S. military in the 1960s as a successor to the M-51, have become a rare and iconic design. FOB has reimagined this classic piece with a modern twist, creating a more refined version for today's styles. The “M-65 FIELD CARGO PANTS” have been reborn with new allure.
FOB Original Moleskin
The fabric features a completely restored version of the moleskin material used in U.S. military flight jackets, like the "B-9." Using triple-ply yarn (three single threads twisted together for added strength), the fabric is woven densely to balance softness and durability.
To replicate the original rugged look, the fabric is dyed using VATDYE (sulfur dye), which is resistant to fading and washing. As the garment is worn, it will develop a vintage-like texture through natural wear and friction.
The moleskin fabric is lighter than the original M-65, adding a touch of luxury while still being durable enough for all-season wear.
The front is equipped with a zip-fly closure, and the original strap for the front zipper has been faithfully recreated.
The pants feature two hand pockets on the sides and two back pockets, in addition to the signature cargo pockets on the front.
The side cargo pockets are equipped with a built-in tourniquet, with an interior storage space as in the original design.
The waist has an adjustable feature, allowing for a custom fit without a belt.
The cuffs are equipped with an adjustable drawstring, allowing you to create a more tapered silhouette or a classic M-65-style voluminous shape.
