Founded in 2019, JUGAAD14 aims to create fashion eyewear that can be coordinated for any scene. The brand offers a blend of modern and classic styles with timeless, borderless designs. Using no metal materials, JUGAAD14 produces eyewear with ethical materials, made in Fukui Prefecture, a global hub for eyewear manufacturing, with a focus on sustainability and minimal environmental impact.







Environmentally Friendly Materials with Brand Commitment
From lenses to frames and all parts, JUGAAD14 uses ethical materials produced with consideration for the environment, people, and animals. The eyewear, made without any metal parts and without excess features, is simple, beautiful, and exudes a refined, sophisticated adult atmosphere.

The surface is coated with silicon to ensure a comfortable fit that sticks to your face, offering a better fit than models made from different materials, making it ideal for more active settings.



The nose pads have been designed with the Japanese nose in mind, positioned slightly higher to prevent slipping, providing a stress-free fit. The temples have an elastic finish to provide a balanced fit while reducing any feeling of tightness.





The lens's ultraviolet transmission rate is below 0.1%, ensuring protection even on the sunniest days. The visible light transmission rates are 15% for the dark green lenses and 10–45% for the polarized adjustable lenses, providing protection in bright daylight and intense sunlight.





Reconstructing Vintage Frames for the Japanese Face
The design is a reimagining of 1950s-60s French vintage frames, customized to fit the Japanese face.

The rim design, combining curves and straight lines, evokes the horizon as the sun rises. To avoid being overly classic, the bridge width has been designed with more space to better align with Japanese facial proportions.
